The CEO of LGNA International, Tunde Jakande, has expressed his commendation for Meath Enterprise CEO, Gary O’Meara, as preparations are underway to receive participants for the LGNA Five Day study tour in Dublin, Ireland. Speaking to the media in Lagos on Wednesday, Jakande praised O’Meara for going above and beyond the LGNA’s request in making arrangements for the visit, set to take place on Tuesday, June 20th.
On that day, the participants will kick off their schedule by visiting Kells Tech Hub from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, followed by a meeting and tour at MEC Navan, with a launch event scheduled for approximately 12:30 pm.
Jakande emphasized that O’Meara’s gesture perfectly aligns with the essence of the Five Day study tour, which aims to provide a platform for knowledge sharing, idea cross-fertilization, and networking opportunities.
“Scheduled to speak on Monday, June 19th, are distinguished individuals including the Deputy Managing Director of Arise Television, Mr. Bayo Awosemo; the Director General of Public Procurement Agency, Mr. Fatai Idowu Onafowote; the Managing Director of Irish Emerald Holdings, Yetunde Jakande; Nigerian Irish IT and Property developer, Abayomi Charles Akinola; and the first black lady elected into a public office, Cir Yemi Adenuga,” announced Jakande.
He further highlighted that the speakers will cover various aspects of leadership, development, values, and citizen participation. The participants will depart from Nigeria on June 16th and arrive in Ireland on the following day, June 17th.
“The weather in Dublin is quite friendly. A vehicle will be available to transport the participants to their hotel in Drogheda, which is just a thirty-minute drive from the airport. Each participant will receive a branded T-shirt and face cap in a special backpack,” Jakande shared.
He advised the participants to reach out to Ifeoma Okafor, the Manager of LGNA International, for any clarifications or inquiries regarding the study tour.
