Oloye Salami Oluwaseun, a prominent figure in Kosofe, has called for the removal of Kosofe Local Government cabinets over allegations of insubordination and illegal possession of unauthorized council documents. This call comes in the wake of reports suggesting that Ganiu Oyebanjo, a key figure allegedly involved in these activities, has absconded to evade arrest.
Oloye Salami voiced his concerns after learning of Ganiu Oyebanjo’s purported evasion tactics, citing it as an act of cowardice. He emphasized the importance of facing legal inquiries and denounced Oyebanjo’s actions as detrimental to the party’s integrity. Referring to Oyebanjo’s alleged history of misconduct, including involvement in anti-party activities during elections, Salami stressed the need for swift action to prevent further damage.
According to Salami, Oyebanjo and his associates are allegedly behind the creation of the Facebook Page named “Kosofe Headline,” which has been accused of spreading falsehoods about the APC administration in Kosofe despite Oyebanjo’s previous involvement in the government. Salami condemned this as disloyalty and a violation of Oyebanjo’s oath of office.
Despite efforts to reach out to Ganiu Oyebanjo for comment, he remained unreachable at the time of this report.
