Supporters of Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, the House of Representatives member for Kosofe Federal Constituency, have voiced strong reactions to the recent interview of Ikosi Isheri LCDA Chairman, Samiat Bada. The interview, which went viral, highlighted Bada’s struggles with English and her erratic communication, sparking criticism among Lagos residents.
Abdulkarim Aramide, one of Ogbara’s supporters, expressed embarrassment after watching the clip online. He noted that Bada’s performance was particularly concerning given her long tenure in local government roles and her bid for re-election after 12 years.
In response to the viral clip, Bada accused Ogbara of sabotaging her campaign, claiming the lawmaker was destroying her campaign posters and attempting to undermine her political efforts. Bada also suggested that Ogbara, who switched parties from PDP to APC, might not remain loyal if she fails to secure another ticket, hinting at potential defection.
