Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has praised the Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mayor Dele Oshinowo, for delivering 170 housing units to the community.
During the inauguration of Raymond Estate and Sterling Heights, Sanwo-Olu highlighted the chairman’s commitment to public accountability and praised his collaboration with the state’s THEMES PLUS AGENDA.
“On behalf of the people and government of Lagos, I want to publicly thank Mayor Oshinowo for showing us that true public accountability exists,” said Sanwo-Olu, who also acknowledged Oshinowo’s leadership in transforming the once-troubled area into a thriving community.
Oshinowo expressed pride in the accomplishments of his administration and emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovation. He also announced the introduction of a digital property registry to streamline real estate documentation.
The event marked the seventh anniversary of Oshinowo’s administration, a period characterized by remarkable development in Agboyi-Ketu. The governor, in his remarks, encouraged other council chairmen to emulate Oshinowo’s success in addressing the housing deficit.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries including Lagos State Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, and prominent community leaders.
