Oguntunde Commends Supporters, Rallies Behind Party Flagbearers

Hon. Kayode Akanni Oguntunde, has expressed gratitude to his supporters and pledged unwavering support for the newly elected All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate, Hon. Adetola Oyedele, and the councillors-elect following the recently concluded local government primaries.
In a statement released on Sunday and signed by Oguntunde, who contested in the Agboyi-Ketu LCDA chairmanship primary, he appreciated the dedication, enthusiasm, and loyalty of those who backed his campaign.
“Your enthusiasm, energy, and dedication mean the world to me,” he said, reflecting on the campaign trail and the collective efforts of his team and supporters.
While the outcome was not in his favour, Oguntunde congratulated Oyedele and the elected councillors, affirming that they had earned the right to lead and deserved the support of all party faithful. He assured them of his cooperation as they take up leadership roles within the council and the community.
“They have earned the right to lead, and I pledge to support them in any way I can,” Oguntunde stated.
The former aspirant and Coordinator of Tunde Braimoh Foundation called for unity within the APC, urging members and his supporters to put aside personal differences and work collectively towards the development of Agboyi-Ketu. He reiterated his commitment to the values that shaped his campaign and expressed confidence in the capacity of the party’s candidates to lead with integrity and vision.
“Let’s unite and work together for a brighter future,” Oguntunde concluded.
