Kosofe Local Government has taken a significant step toward inclusive governance with the official selection of Hon. Oluwole Sosanya as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Vice Chairman in the upcoming 2025 local council elections.
The announcement has been received with widespread commendation from political stakeholders and community leaders, who described the decision as a strategic move toward balanced leadership and effective service delivery.
In a statement reacting to the development, leading APC chairmanship aspirant Hon. Shakiru Adekunle Balogun, popularly known as BASH2025, hailed Sosanya’s nomination, describing him as “a man of character, capacity, and quiet strength.”
“This appointment goes beyond political considerations. It is a statement of intent—an affirmation that Kosofe is committed to responsive and responsible governance,” Balogun said in a personally signed message.
