The Majority Leader of Epe Local Government Council, Hon. Oluwo Rasheed Olorunju (Horo), has felicitated with Yoruba sons and daughters across the world on the commemoration of this year’s Isese Day.

In a goodwill message, Olorunju, who represents Ward A6 in the council, described the day as a symbol of unity and cultural identity. He urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in preserving values and traditions handed down by their forebears.

“Isese reminds us of our roots, the wisdom of our ancestors, and the beauty of a heritage that continues to guide us. May this day bring peace, blessings, and a renewed commitment to preserving our culture for generations to come,” he said.

The Majority Leader also extended his greetings to the people of Epe and the wider Yoruba community, stressing that cultural preservation is crucial in sustaining peace and unity in society.

Isese Day is celebrated annually in Yorubaland to honor traditional religion, cultural heritage, and the ancestral legacies of the Yoruba people.
