The immediate past member of the House of Representatives for Kosofe Federal Constituency, Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye, has officially aligned with the Justice Forum (JF) — a major political bloc within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.

Agunsoye made the move on Saturday, October 11, 2025, when he, along with key former supporters of Minister of Interior and National Secretary of the Action Democratic Congress (ADC), Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, attended a Justice Forum meeting held at the GRA, Ikeja.

Although details of the closed-door deliberations were not disclosed, political observers say the development signals an emerging realignment of forces within the Lagos APC ahead of future elections.

Sources close to the Aregbesola political network revealed that while the ADC and some loyalists of the former minister have publicly distanced themselves from recent political maneuvers, the meeting could represent a strategic rapprochement between Agunsoye and the Justice Forum bloc.

Analysts suggest that the move by Agunsoye — a prominent figure in Kosofe politics — may reshape internal party dynamics and influence power structures within the Lagos APC, particularly as the state’s political actors begin to reposition ahead of the next electoral cycle.
