A concerned resident has appealed to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to urgently address the worsening condition of a major section of Ogudu Road in the Kosofe Local Government Area.
The call, made on Friday via a social media post tagged to the governor, Kosofe Local Government Chairman Hon. Moyosore Ogunlewe, and community news platform KosofePost, highlighted the increasing hardship the failing road is causing motorists, commuters, and businesses.
According to the resident, the affected portion of the road has continued to deteriorate despite repeated complaints from road users, raising safety concerns and prolonging travel time for thousands who rely on the corridor daily.
He urged the state government to prioritise the repair, stressing that Ogudu Road is a major transit route and plays a significant role in the socio-economic life of the community.
The latest appeal adds to growing concerns among Lagos residents over the state of inner-city roads and infrastructure, with many calling for more urgent and coordinated interventions from government authorities.
