The lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos State, Hon. Kafilat Adetola Ogbara, has taken an early step towards the 2027 general elections with the unveiling of branded campaign buses.
A video clip sighted ahead of the lawmaker’s much-anticipated mega empowerment programme shows a fleet of mini Suzuki buses—popularly known as korope—fully branded with campaign insignia. The buses prominently display visuals associated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu alongside that of Hon. Ogbara, signalling a clear alignment with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The branded buses were seen lined up at the venue, drawing public attention and sparking political conversations within Kosofe and beyond, as observers interpret the move as an early mobilisation strategy ahead of the next electoral cycle.
Speaking during a press conference, Hon. Ogbara disclosed that the empowerment programme would include the distribution of mini Suzuki buses, tricycles (maruwa), and other economic support items to selected beneficiaries. She explained that the initiative is designed to boost livelihoods, promote self-reliance, and strengthen grassroots economic activities within the constituency.
The lawmaker reaffirmed her commitment to empowerment-driven representation, noting that the initiative aligns with broader efforts to expand socio-economic opportunities for residents while consolidating political structures ahead of the 2027 elections.
