Family Announces Fidau Prayer for Late Barrister Sulyman in Ilorin

The family of the late Yusuf Kunle Sulyman has announced arrangements for the Fidau prayer in honour of the respected legal practitioner and elder statesman who passed away at the age of 81.

According to a statement issued by the Sulyman family of Fagba, the prayer will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Emir’s Palace Ilorin.

Barrister Sulyman, widely regarded as a devoted family man and community leader, died on March 12, 2026. Born on September 4, 1944, he is remembered by family members as a loving brother, husband, uncle, father, and grandfather whose life was defined by service and strong family values.

The Fidau prayer, an Islamic memorial prayer held for the deceased, is expected to attract family members, friends, associates, and dignitaries who will gather in Ilorin to pray for the repose of his soul.

Members of the public seeking further information about the event can contact family representatives including Hafsa, Kale, Eniola, and Zumah, whose phone numbers were provided in the announcement.

Barrister Sulyman’s passing has continued to draw tributes from associates and admirers who have described him as a principled leader and respected figure in both legal and political circles.
