Easter: Agboyi-Ketu, Kosofe Leaders Preach Unity, Hope, Compassion

Leaders across Agboyi-Ketu and Kosofe Constituency I have extended Easter greetings to residents, urging unity, compassion, and renewed faith during the festive season.

The Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Adetola Adunni Abubakar, described Easter as a symbol of “the triumph of light over darkness, hope over despair, and life over death.”

In her message, Abubakar said the season reflects renewal and grace, encouraging residents to remain hopeful despite prevailing challenges. She urged citizens to support one another, uplift vulnerable members of society, and work collectively toward building a more compassionate and progressive community.

Similarly, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Kosofe Constituency I, Sanni Ganiyu Okanlawon, поздравulated his constituents on Easter Monday, praying that the celebration would bring renewed hope, peace, and progress to households across the constituency.

He stressed the importance of unity and collective responsibility in fostering development, urging residents to embrace the values associated with the Easter season.

In the same vein, former Education Secretary of Kosofe Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Babatunde Shoneye, shared a message of hope, declaring, “Christ is Risen! Hallelujah.” He described the resurrection as a source of enduring hope and encouraged residents to reflect its message in their daily lives.

Shoneye also prayed for peace, unity, and shared prosperity within the community, particularly among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while wishing families and friends a joyful Easter celebration.

Collectively, the messages highlighted Easter as a period of faith, renewal, and communal harmony, with leaders calling on residents to embody its values in building a better society.
