The President-Elect of the Rotaract Club of Ikorodu Golden for the 2026/2027 Rotary year, Adeniyi Olasunkanmi, has extended warm Eid greetings to Muslim faithful, urging residents to embrace unity, compassion, and service to humanity during the festive season.
In a statement issued on behalf of the club, Olasunkanmi described Eid as a season rooted in faith, gratitude, sacrifice, and communal harmony.
According to him, the spirit of Eid should inspire individuals and communities to strengthen acts of kindness and support for one another.
“As we celebrate this season of faith, unity, and gratitude, may we continue to spread kindness, compassion, and service to humanity,” he stated.
He also prayed for peace, happiness, and prosperity for families and communities, while expressing hope that the sacrifices and prayers associated with the celebration would be accepted.
The statement reaffirmed the club’s commitment to humanitarian service, youth development, and community-based initiatives across Ikorodu and surrounding areas.
Olasunkanmi noted that the festive period also serves as a reminder of the importance of supporting vulnerable members of society and promoting peaceful coexistence.
The goodwill message comes ahead of the club’s leadership transition for the 2026/2027 Rotary year, during which Olasunkanmi is expected to lead initiatives focused on community impact, youth empowerment, and social development.
He concluded by wishing Muslim faithful and residents a peaceful, joyful, and memorable Eid celebration filled with love and togetherness.
