The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, has appointed the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, as Director General of his campaign team.

The appointment marks a major step in the mobilisation efforts for Oshinowo’s campaign ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.

Princess Bada is a grassroots politician and administrator with extensive experience in public service and political mobilisation. She previously served as Vice Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA and as Director of Mobilisation for the APC campaign during the 2015 general elections in Lagos State.

She is currently serving her second term as Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.

Beyond her role at the local government level, Bada serves as Vice Chairman of the Lagos East Senatorial District under Conference 57, reflecting her standing within the party’s political structure.

She is also known for her involvement in grassroots development, women empowerment and humanitarian initiatives, areas that have earned her several recognitions during her public service career.

As Director General, Bada will oversee the coordination and mobilisation of the MDO Campaign Team across the Kosofe Federal Constituency. She will additionally serve as Campaign Coordinator for Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.

The appointment is expected to strengthen the campaign’s grassroots structure and coordination as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 elections.

Oshinowo’s campaign team expressed confidence that Bada’s political experience, administrative background and grassroots network would contribute significantly to its electoral efforts across Kosofe.

The campaign is anchored on the message: “Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe.”
