Alhaji Welly Ishola Hassan, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, has died.
His daughter, Busayo Hassan, announced his death in a Facebook Story post on Tuesday morning.
Hassan was a prominent figure in Lagos politics and previously served as Deputy Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the PDP before defecting to the APC.
He remained active in the state’s political space after joining the APC and was involved in party activities until his death.
