Lawmaker notifies State Assembly over passage of Oloworo of Oworo, Oba Bashru Oloruntoyin Saliu

A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Kosofe Constituency 1, and Chairman House Committee on Education, Hon. Sanni Ganiu Okanlawon has notify State Assembly over the passage of Oloworo of Oworo, Oba Bashru Oloruntoyin Saliu.

Okanlawon notified the house who just resumed from recess on Monday, during the first plenary session.

He noted further that the Chairman Obas and Chiefs in Council of Kosofe Land, Oba Bashru Oloruntoyin left the sinful on August 30, 2021.

He paid a glowing tributes to the revered King. In his words, ” In his lifetime Oba Bashru Oloruntohiin Saliu was committed to the Development of socioeconomic activities of Oworonshoki Kingdom and alas Kosofe Local Government”.

“To his credit he played many role in the peaceful coexisting of Kosofe Land. He played a prominent role in the first ever fire Service Station in Kosofe Constituency 1 by donating 2 plots of land for that course,” Okanlawon stated.

Oloworo partnership with several organizations bring about rapid social economic development to the community.

Monarch survived by wives, children including the incumbent Kosofe Local Government Vice Chairman, Prince Babatunde Saliu and Councilor representing ‘Ward B’Oworonshoki, Prince Kehinde Saliu according to the Lawmaker.

Okanlawon crave the indulgence of the state Assembly to observe a minute silence and dispatch condolence letter to the bereaved Royal family and Kosofe Local Government respectively.
