2023: It won’t be easy to present Femi Saheed for second term

A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and House Committee Chairman on the Central Business District, Honourable Femi Saheed, may not get a second term ticket on the platter of gold.

Femi, who picked the Kosofe Constituency 2 House of Assembly nomination and expression of interest forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is seeking a fresh mandate.

Despite the support he enjoyed from Lagos East senatorial District Leader of Governor’s Advisory Council leader, Otunba Bushira Alebiosu Agboyi Ketu, and Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Areas Chairmen, now fewer than three contestants have picked nomination forms to challenge the state lawmaker, who barely spent 16 months in office.

Femi Saheed, Samuel Adebayo, Babatunde Adeniyi, and Yacoob Balogun were among the contestants that will challenge Femi Saheed for the party ticket on Sunday, May 22, if a consensus arrangement fails.
