A week ago, Eleojo Adams Musa used the microblogging site, Facebook to falsely announced that Corona Virus case was recorded at the Oak Hospital, Ikorodu as monitored by Kosofe Post online.
However, Oak Hospital has since debunked the claims as tissue of lies by sending bulk SMS to all their clients.
The Sms message stated that “Dear Client, thank you for your patronage. We want to use this medium to state that there is no COVID-19 case in Oak Hospitals. Stay safe. En: oakhospitals.com”
A further visit by our correspondence this weekend revealed what triggered the false claims. Kosofepost learnt that’s a pregnant due for delivery was rushed through an ambulance to the hospital.

The pregnant woman reported did not have any medical records with the Oak Hospital because didn’t she registered as a client nor for antinatal care.
However, the hospital been cognisance of the Covid19 and took proactive steps by taken her baby delivery inside the ambulance. These approached created a scene that triggered the false Corona Virus alarm insinuations according to the medical doctor (witheld) that spoke to Kosofe Post, on Sunday morning.
The Oak hospital maintains high hiegiene environment; washing of hands, hand Sanitizers, checking visitors temperature from the main entrance and social spacing distance as the security personnel were seen ensuring that patients complied before gaining access into the hospital environment.
As the dust raised over the hospital yet to settled down another false alarm was raised on St. Raphael Divine Mercy Special Hospital, Ikorodu.
In a swift stamped and signed press statement by the Hospital; Director of Administration dated March 27, 2020 dispelled any rumour of the hospital been lock down as a result of patient tested positive to Corona Virus.
The statement received by Kosofe Post reporters partly reads” We wish to state emphatically that our hospital does not conduct Covid19 tests nor NCDC carryout any test on any of our hospitals staffs or patient which turn out positive”.
