APPRECIATION!!!
That’s what learning is, after all; not whether we lose the game, but how we lose and how we’ve changed because of it and what we take away from it that we never had before, to apply to other games. Losing, in a curious way, is winning.
I sincerely wish to thank the Almighty and Invisible God. I thank my Family, Friends, Comrades in struggle, Party Agents, Providence People’s Congress National and State Executive, Cojosa National and Lagos Chapter, Cojosa Class of 93, Maryland Deanery Catholic Churches, Sacred Heart Catholic Community, Maryland Deanery Catholic Men Organisation, Catholic Women Organisation, Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria, Associate Missionary of St. Paul, Young Christian Workers and particularly PPC supporters, who worked for the party in the just concluded elections.
My congratulations goes to all those who emerged winners at all levels of the fraudulent election conducted by the never to be trusted umpire The Independent National Electoral Commission, I wish them all the very best, as we hopefully look forward to qualitative representation and inclusive participation in the coming days!
I would like to take a moment to specially thank all those that participated actively with the planning of my campaign organisation and the various rally and door to door outreach.
I especially want to thank the voters in Kosofe Constituency 1 who voted for me and placed their confidence in me to be their constituency representative, may the good Lord bless you all abundantly and for keeping faith to the struggles, I am humbled and honoured.
This would not have been possible without the help of my family and my many friends and neighbours .my campaign manager and chief of logistics officer who were second to none.
To several voters who displayed FIRE signs for me, (yes, we had several hundred FIRE signs out there), thank you.
To the individual friends who walked with me during the months when you could have been doing other things, thank you also. On Election Day, majority of the polling units’, from the time they opened to the time they closed had Team “WAF” volunteers. In short, it was a great team effort and it worked.
I can’t forget the various Committees for all of their efforts leading right up to election night. The committees were organized, energized, determined and mostly peaceful. Thank you.
I am very humbled by the support everyone has given me. I will always work on a foundation of respectable values – honesty, integrity and transparency.
Thank you all for making it to this stage. I look forward to serving the constituency, state and country in future.
I would prefer even to lose with honour than to WIN by cheating.
