Contrary to the earlier assurance given on February 1, 2020 by a member of the Lagos State House of Assemby, representing Kosofe Constituency ll, House Committee Chaiman on Information and Strategy, Barrister Tunde Braimoh that some roads in the Constituency, particularly Demurin road rehabilitation will commence 3 weeks ago, news was widely shared and highly celebrated by residents when reported by Kosofe Post, will now commence in two weeks time as the contractor finally gets award letter last week Monday.

Another source also disclosed to Kosofe Post at the time that the contract was awarded by the Lagos State Goverment and the contractor were looking for work yard to move in their equipments. However, Kosofe Post conversations with the contractor (namewitheld) revealed that the road was only approved and they were currently perfecting their procurement documents.
The contractor responses further revealed that mobilization to site was not visible; talkless of commencing the fullscale rehabilitation work.
