The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governor’s Advisory Council Leader, Otunba Bushira Alebiosu, is a popular household name in Kosofe and across the State, with which a particular People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly Kosofe Constituency II, Sikiru Ademola Alebiosu, shared the same surname ‘Alebiosu’.
However, the suspicion and feelings of the possible relationship between a two term lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, Hon. ( Arch) Dayo Alebiosu, a son to Otunba Bushira from APC, and the PDP Lagos House of Assembly candidate, Ademola Alebiosu, arose among the APC members and
the electorates. The surname is causing confusion and both members and electorates demand a clarification.
Kosofepost gathers that, there is no relationship of any kind between the two politicians.
While chatting with Dayo Alebiosu, (a son to Otunba Bushira Alebiosu), he revealed that, his family has never heard of the candidate until people began to question him.
According to him, he has received several calls from people trying to find out who the PDP candidate was and he was glad that he had the opportunity to be heard.
In his words “ I have received calls asking if he’s a member of our family or in anyway related to us. So I’m happy you’ve also asked and the opportunity to set the record straight is a very welcomed one”.
Dayo emphasised that, all his families are members of APC and will be casting their votes for their candidate.
He said, “My family are all members of APC and we will most certainly be casting our votes for Femi Saheed of the APC come October 31st for Lagos State House of Assembly”.
The PDP candidate on the other hand, Ademola Alebiosu disclosed to Kosofepost that, he would be unveiling the true identity very soon as he would not like to reveal it yet.
