Nigeria records 205 new cases of COVID-19, 4 Fatalities

Nigeria recorded additional 205 new cases of COVID-19 while it recorded 4 fatalities on Saturday, according to the NCDC COVID-19 daily case update.
The number increased from 160,332 it was on Friday to 160537 on Saturday, indicating 205 new infections.

Giving a breakdown of the fresh infections, the NCDC said Ondo State recorded the highest figure of the day with 33 infections, followed by Lagos State which reported 25 cases.
Others were; FCT (22), Bauchi (21), Akwa Ibom (15), Kaduna (14), Katsina (13), Ogun (13), Rivers (11), Edo (8), Ekiti (4), Imo (4), Kano (3), Nasarawa (2), and Niger (2).
As of Saturday, 13th of March 2021, a total of 2013 persons have lost their lives to the virus in Nigeria, while 144714 patients recovered.
