The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Youth Leader area of Kosofe, Lagos, Cmr. Olushola Daniyan expressed concern over the past experience of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission on Local Government Election.

Comrade Shola gave the advice following the announcement date for the poll in an interview with the Kosofe Post (KP) in Kosofe on Tuesday.

He expressed concern following the announcement of the 2021 Local Government Election by the Commission slated July 17.
In response he said, “I think Lagos State PDP should boycott the council election by LASIEC. This is not out of fear of defeat but because the purported local government elections from all indications has failed integrity test and it is a complete mockery of democracy. The reason for this is not farfetched. It is the undemocratic processes involved in previous local government elections in Lagos State.”
Cmr Daniyan Oluwashola. However, enjoined his party, the PDP who were recently polarised ahead of the recently conducted Southwest Zonal Congress to work as a team to dislodge APC in Lagos State by putting their resources together towards the next general election.
Point of correction Shola Daniyan was never or not a youth leader in any ward in Kosofe PDP , Shola is a very good friend and political brother from ward F if Kosofe constituency 2 , am responding in my capacity as the ward youth leader in ward B Kosofe and the youth Coordinator for PDP Kosofe LGA unanimously agreed by all the youth leaders at a meeting held at the LGA office when Comarde Olayiwola Sulaimon Aka Opomularo was the PDP Kosofe LGA youth leader before he relocated out of the country. Let it be on record that the Ward youth leader for Ward F where my very good friend and brother Comrade Shola Daniyan practice his politics is Mr Bola popularly known as Mustgo

As far as am concerned boycotting the election is not the best option for Kosofe PDP, the local government election is just a proof to the party at the state and national level how strong the party is at the grassroots and to show the level of work and how grounded the leadership of the LGA executive and the party leaders.
The local government election is an avenue for all party members from polling units, ward to show how strong and grounded they are at their respective polling units and ward, is not by going to LGA, state and National to make mouth, it’s the time for each groups and cacuses within the party to mobilise and show how powerful and influential their group and cacuses are, it’s the time for the LGA chairman to prove their worth .
Am not contesting for youth leader but one thing is certained am not a one sided youth leader. Am an ambassador for youth, voice of the voiceless and a political jagaban of Kosofe PDP.
In response to what seun said, presently Kazeem Adeyemi is the acting youth leader of Kosofe PDP and I don’t think there is any objection to that. Kosofe post can do their independent findings based on the acting youth leader in Kosofe PDP.
Well seun should Incase you don’t know my politics is beyond Kosofe and presently Shola Daniyan is not just a factor but a treat to those who thinks they can cash out as usual.
Seun if you are not boycotting the election please contest and show your popularity and strength in gbagada.
