APC denies imposition of candidates in the forthcoming local government elections in Lagos state

The information reaching this medium from the All Progressives Congress State Secretariat, has it that the party’s state Chairman, Honourable Tunde Balogun has denied imposition of candidates and declared that where more than two Chairmanship aspirants have purchased forms in a local government area, a level Playing field will be provided for all the contestants to test their popularity and strength.

According to Kosofe Post source, The party State Chairman made this declaration at a meeting held on Saturday at Acme, Ikeja.

The National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is also expected to address the party faithful during a Stakeholders Assembly scheduled to hold during the week.

The address from the horses mouth, Ashiwaju Tinubu will further help in clearing the air surrounding the purported adoption of some aspirants as consensus candidates. The APC is a national party and cannot be seen has imposing candidates on her members.

However, Kosofe post gathered that some Chairmanship aspirants who were earlier tricked by the purported adoption of some
candidates has since step up their consultation and campaign activities for next weekend’s primary election.
