Chairmanship Election: Carew Urges Members to cast their vote in his favour

Lanre Carew, Kosofe Local Government Chairmanship aspirant area of Lagos State has urged All Progressives Congress, APC, members to go out en masse on Saturday to cast their vote for him to emerge as the standard party flagbearer.

The Farmcity boss, Carew made the plea at the rally held at Ogudu area of Kosofe on Thursday, May 27th, 2021.

While addressing the crowd that thronged the venue of the rally he observed a minute silent for the Late Senator Representing Lagos East senatorial District at the upper Chamber of the National Assembly, Adebayo Osinowo and former Lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 2, Honorable Tunde Braimoh.

Apparently reacting to the Lagos State All Progressives Congress Chapter press release directing all Local Government Area chapter of the party across the state to hold general Assembly on Thursday to address the party members ahead of Saturday primary Election thanked Large numbers of party who stormed his rally.

“Today is Thursday; you are the real politicians and we are the true owner of the party,” Carew declared.

He urged further all APC members to come out en masse to cast 90 percent of their votes in his favor on Saturday. Adding that they should not entertain any fear or intimidation whatsoever that adequate security will be provided across the seven ( 7) voting centres in Kosofe geared towards bring about greater Kosofe.

Earlier, at the gathering, Mr. Bowale Benson stated that all the nine contestants are products of the party leaders and they are not backing any particular aspirant. In fostering internal democracy all aspirants has been enjoined to participate in forthcoming APC primary Election slated for Saturday, May 29.
