The General Secretary of the Lagos State Child Protection Network, CPN, Mr. Rasheed Awofeso has said that the demise of Senator Osinowo left huge lacuna in political landscape of Lagos East Senatorial District.
He made the submission during a chat with the Kosofe Post on “One year without Senator Adebayo Osinowo on leadership, development, and politics respectively.
“Democracy is a process of governance supported by the constitution of a nation, influenced by the whole population to have elected representatives at all tiers of Governments. The above Statement recalled my memory to death that snatched Late distinguished Senator Dikirullahi Adebayo Osinowo a.k.a Pepper, Awofeso stated.
“The death of Late Senator Osinowo left lots of lacuna in the political landscape of Kosofe in particular, and Lagos East in general. Yes, death is a natural phenomenon, we took solace in God. His style of leadership was the type that encouraged upcoming youths in readiness to take up future challenges.
He equally helped in strengthen traditional, and royal institutions, his four (4) terms tenure at the Lagos State House of Assembly was an assets to the state. He had his shortcomings as human being, but did his best when around.
He added” he possessed native and documentary manners of providing panacea to most issues taken to him by various community stakeholders.
Finally, he was an humorous person, a pattern he applied to avert dull moment anytime you are on visit. We shall continue to remember him. May Almighty Allah make Aljanat the abode of the departed soul and continue to comfort the empire left behind. Rest on Erulaye”.
Senator Adebayo Sikiru Osinowo was a unifier and hope for the Hopeless in Lagos state. Party faithful, religious leaders, community leaders and captains of industries comes to him consultation and resolution of conflict. As a human being, he was awesome, accommodating, generous to a fault. A rare leader.
