Activist Wole Odutola slum, died in Agiliti, Kosofe

Mr. Wole Odutola popular known as Wosoko has slum, and died.

The famous Electrical technician cum activist passed on yesterday at Agiliti area of Kosofe according to a neighbor source.

Wosoko, who leaves greater part of his life in Anthony Village before moving to Agiliti under Kosofe is one of the unsung Pro- democracy hero who mobilized hundreds of youths to protest the annulled presidential elections of Chief Moshood Abiola in 1993 by the military leader, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, who said “these steps were taken to save our judiciary from being ridiculed and politicized locally and internationally.”

He was among the several protesters shot, arrested, detained.

However, escaped extrajudicial executions by government forces by a whisker according to Concord Newspapers publication in 1993.

He is survived by four daughter.
