The All Progresives Congress( APC) female Councilorship aspirant for Shaginsha Magodo’ Ward B’ area of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area , Boluwatife Toyas has dumped the party for Accord Party.
Going by 2017 Local Government election results, Accord Party is the major opposition party in Ikosi Isheri. Many believed the party who won a councilorship seat, also won the Chairmanship seat which the Election Petitions Tribunal uphold the Victory of the late Council Chairman, Hon. Abdulfatai Oyesanya of the All Progressives Congress.
The stylist cum politician is one of the constestants that participated in the violence marred APC primaries election held on May 29, 2021.
Toyas who was disatisfied with the annoited Candidate, Honourable Ganiu Oni without a level playing field has since dumped the ruling, APC alongside hundreds of her supporters for the Accord Party to excercise her fundamental rights.
Toyas of Accord, Ganiu Oni of APC, Florence Odunaya of PDP, others will slug it out the Shaginsha Magodo councilorship contest slated for next week Saturday, July 24.
