APC Congress: Kosofe Stakeholders to adopt Consensus to pick Ward Executives

Ahead of the Nationawide All Progressives Congress( APC) Congresses slated for July 31, the party stakeholders in Kosofe has adopted consensus arrangements to pick Ward Executives.

The party stakeholders led by Governor’s Advisory Council members were Otunba Bushira Alebiosu and Omoba Muyiwa Sosanya, Minister for State for Health, Sen. (Dr.) Olorunimbe Mamora, Kosofe Federal Constituency representative, Rotimi Agunsoye Erstwhile Rep’ Dayo Alebiosu, Honourable for Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Yetunde Arobieke, Conference 57 Lagos East senatorial District Vice Chairman and Agboyi Ketu lcda Executive chairman, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, Ikosi Isheri Lcda Chairperson, Samiat Bada, Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Moyo Ogunlewe, among others.

According to Kosofe Post sources privy to the development at the meeting said the Stakeholders agreed to adopt Consensus to pick the party ward executive Members.

The Stakeholders will reconvene tommorow to harmonize the list of the proposed party ward Executives for ratification ahead of Saturday affirmation exercise.

Meanwhile, other faction of the party in the State led by Lead Visioner of Lagos4Lagos movement, Dr Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, aka JANDOR, who earlier called on the Chairman of the National Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mai Mala Buni, to dissolve the Lagos state caretaker committee has said they participate in the exercise.

He said his group has paid for the nomination forms to show their readiness. He alleged that the government of the the state has hijacked the nomination forms.

However, vowed that party members and intending executive will participate in the open congress on Saturday.

In his response to the GAC leaders marathon meetings across the state he said they are illegal and unknown to the to the constitution of the party, and insisted no directives will be taken from them.

Jandor in his press briefing monitored by this medium said “I have gone through APC Constitution and the highest decision making organ I found there is NEC and not GAC. since the body is not known to the party, we can’t take directives from them.”
