Parallel Congresses imminent in All Progressives Congress (APC) has loyalist of the APC National Leader, Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu, factional Chairman, Fouad Oki and Lagos4Lagos Movement purchased sperate nomination forms for members of their various groups.
Fouad Oki, and Jandor of Lagos4Lagos Movement who purchased forms from the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja, separately accused Tinubu’s faction of hijacking nomination forms to disenfranchised qualified party members from participating in the political process across the state.
The Governor’s Advisory Council comprises of serving and, Ex-Governor, Senators, Ministers, Commissioner, and Political leaders sensing the threats from other groups convened marathon meetings to avert danger within immediate Tinubu’s supporters and form common front against the stakeholders battle ready to change over 20 years status quo in Lagos.
The groups whose position aligned with the National Headquarters of the party ensured that Congresses will only be conducted in 245 wards and 20 Local Governments in Lagos State.
According to sources in political parlance hinted that Lagos State will witnessed parallel Congresses today that may likely make the whole exercise inconclusive to attract APC National headquarters intervention that will eventually pave the way for all the gladiators to adopt suitable sharing formula unlike before the APC National Leader, Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu Mandate Group control all organs of the party.
