The trio of Executive chairman of Kosofe local government, Mr. Moyo Ogunlewe, Agboyi Ketu Local Council Development Area, Mr. Dele Oshinowo and Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Mayor, Mr. Samiat Bada attended the retreat organized by the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs tagged : “Engendering Peace, Security and Development at the Grassroot” for the 57 newly elected local government chairmen and LCDAs in Lagos State.
The two days programme took place at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The retreat will sensitize the council chairmen on the modus operandi embedded in the discharge of their duties and the procedures they are expected to follow. They will also be enlighten on the channel of communication with the state government and expected ethics.
Returning Chairmen and first termer after the retreat are equipped with administration knowledge garned from seasoned professionals to steer the affairs of their various in the next four years.
Other Local Government across the state equally participated in the two days excercise geared towards enhancing policies, programmes and projects execution and implementation at grassroots.
