Pa Sosanya, Moyo Ogunlewe, Others Attend late Oloworo of Oworo Eight Day Fidau

KOSOFE- Kosofe Local Government practically, stood still on Wednesday, as eminent Nigerians, politicians, foreign diplomats, Royal fathers, market women and men, well wishers, among others, thronged the Olowo of Oworo palace, for the 8th Day Fidau prayers for the repose of late HRM Oba Bashiru Saliu.

The late monarch was the father of the present Vice Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Prince Babatunde Saliu and Councillor representing Ward B, Oworo, Hon. Kebinde Saliu.

Speaking at the program, Barrister Moyo Ogunlewe described the late monarch as a father and a very good man.

As expected during Fidau prayers, top-notch Muslim clerics were on ground to offer prayers for the deceased, as well as delivering sermons on the need for mankind to make humility their watchword.

The religious clerics further urged all and sundry, political leaders and all those in positions of authority to emulate the altruistic service to humanity exemplified by the late Kabiyesi while on earth.
