Barely Twenty-hours after people’s Democratic Party held LGA congress across the state, Adeniyi Olabiran made the claims that he is PDP’s authentic Kosofe LGA chairman in an Interview granted to Kosofe Post
Accompanied by numerous PDP supporters at the Late PDP Kosofe LGA Chairman, Chief Odusola wife, Olatutu Abigael final Burial ceremony heald at Adetutu event Ogudu Area of Kosofe said providence has bestowed on him the leadership of the party.
Speaking on the conflicting reports that parallel LGA Congresses was conducted he said nothing of such ever took place anywhere in Kosofe Federal Constituency.
In his words,” There’s nothing like parallel Congress been? held yesterday in Kosofe. The people that was present were been sent from Wadata House, Abuja.”
He added that the Department of Security Service (DSS), Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), Nigeria Police, Op Mesa were present. He said, ” There was no parallel Congress, the election was held and I won.”
“You don’t run away from an election, running away shows that you have accepted defeat,” Olabiran posited.
Speaking further he said the congress was held at the official party Secretariat address at Mile 12 area of Kosofe Local Government, where party official and all relevant security agents were present.
Contrary to the claims that the party is working towards harmonization following the Congress fallouts. He said you don’t harmonize after Election, you harmonize before Election, nothing like harmonization.”
He noted that elected officials that has been pronounced by the Election Officers from PDP National Headquarters can not be removed.
While declaring that there is no victor, no vanquish, Olabiran called on the party faithful to join hands with him in piloting the affairs of the party to defeat the party common enemy; The All Progresives Congress (APC).
He vowed that PDP will win Kosofe in 2023 while expressing his deep appreciation to PDP members for their overwhelming votes during the LGA Congress.
