Lawmaker laments poor condition of Ogudu Primary school in Kosofe

The member representing Kosofe Constituency 1, Lagos state,  Hon. Sanni Okanlawon has expressed displeasure over poor conditions of Ogudu Primary  school in  Kosofe.

Okanlawon made this statement while speaking to the Journalist at Ogudu Primary school, Kosofe local government area during his touring and continuation of his earlier flagged off distribution of educational materials to some schools in his constituency.

The lawmaker wondered why such School still exist in his Constituency as the House Chairman Committee on Education of the Lagos State House of Assembly.

“I come to the Ogudu Primary School to distribute educational materials we also discovered that part of the school is dilapidated, I am not happy about that really.”

He expressed pain on the way the teacher, Headteachers, and Councilors Representing Ogudu failed to escalate the poor condition of the schools in the state especially those in his constituency to decay to  unimaginable levels.

He said there about 1106 primary schools in Lagos State going round everywhere might be possible because he was not a superhuman.He added , It behoves of those people living in the Community to escalate problems like this to us.”

He assured the affected Community that he will call the attention of Chairman on School rehabilitation Committee, Mr. Hakeem Smith to come have a look and fix it immediately.
