Bush street, Bola street and Anthony Village Road around Kosofe Local Government Area drainage system needs urgent desilting.
The less than an hour downpour spew water onto the roads as result of drainage blockage yesterday.
Kosofe Post gathered from residents over months it was the same story of flood, flowing to residents houses and causing traffic gridlock.
In some instances, residents were forced to remove their shoes to walk through the flooded roads in order to get to their destinations.
According to Kosofe Post findings, the rainfall flash flood occurred as most tertiary drains were blocked with refuse thus spewing water onto the roads.
The affected roads; Truck B belongs to Lagos State Government and any further delays in desilting the drainage systems may destroy the recently rehabilitated roads in the affected community.
