Mayor Dele Oshinowo commends Senator Abiru’s intervention on Ajelogo Primary School

• Says construction of block of three classrooms is unique demonstration of collaborative synergy

The Executive Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo has commended the Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Tokunbo Abiru over the ongoing construction of a block of three classrooms at Ajelogo Primary School, Mile 12.

The chairman made this known while paying an unscheduled visit to the school in appraising the commencement of construction works.

Speaking during the inspection, the council mayor described the ongoing project as a reward for collaborative synergy in attracting development to Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.

Mayor Dele explained that the essence of the partnership with Senator Abiru playing a leading role in providing a space for the project to be captured in his numerous intervention programs would further reduce the teacher to student class ratio to 1: 22.

Mayor Dele further appealed to community members to take ownership of the project and support the government in safeguarding school’s infrastructure across the locality.

Also speaking, the Supervisor in charge of the classroom block, Engr. Kabir Abiola noted that the edifice when completed would be fully-furnished with desks and benches.

He further noted that the project would be completed as scheduled.

Apart from the ongoing school project, the Senator Abiru’s intervention is concurrently yielding another democratic fruit in the LCDA with the upcoming construction of a mini-hospital at Agboyi-Ketu Area Office,Ketu.
