Commuters plying Adisa Balogun and Ajibola Streets in the Alapere Area of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA on a daily basis would soon heave a sigh of relief as the locality under the chairmanship of Mayor Dele Oshinowo has commenced palliative work on the aforementioned roads today.
The two intra-city roads are significant as they serve as major alternative routes for thousands of commuters on a daily basis heading to Ogudu Orioke to link up Ojota , Apapa-Oshodi Expressway and Third Mainland Bridge.
Displaying full cooperation with the contractor handling the project, residents of the affected areas commended the Council’s Mayor for always providing purposeful leadership ever since his administration came on board.
A resident, Mr. Victor Okoye maintained that the Mayor Dele Oshinowo led-administration has performed excellently well in transforming public infrastructure, stressing that the ongoing palliative exercise would boost economic activities in the axis.
Another resident, Mr. Tosin Omowaye commended the chairman for keeping his promise to drive up infrastructural development in the LCDA , adding that the development path instituted by his administration is the surest route for a grassroots administration to open up its locality for more investments.
