The National President, Association of Barbers, Hairdressers and Cosmetologist of Nigeria(ABHCON) Mr. Ganiu Atanda has commended all aspirants for peaceful campaign conducts.
He made the commendation at the monthly general meeting of the Lagos State Barbers Hairdressers and Cosmetologist Association (LABHCA) held at Papa open field, Oworonshoki Kosofe, Lagos.
“I am excited seeing on the social media the campaign activities and programmes of the various contestants devoid of attacks. It’s highly commendable.
He assured all the contestant of a level playing field. The Election will be free, fair and Transparent, said, “The ballot paper and boxes will be open, there be won’t room for rigging.”
While debunking the allegations that he was sponsoring a particular candidate, sworn by the holy books that he is not sponsoring any particular candidate for the December Election of the Association.
He further noted that during the transition period, name-dropping is inevitable. He claimed they are using his name to malign his reputation. However, urged members to shun speculations and focus on people’s oriented campaign among others.
Atanda’s seek member’s total cooperation towards a hitch free Election.
LAHBCA Board Electoral Committee announced at the State General meeting that nomination forms collection ended on Thursday, October 28, Submission November 10, while screening of the aspirants is scheduled to hold on November 8th to 10th.
The Presidential debate is slated for the next General meeting, holding on November 18.
