We only generated N8Milllon from Presidential aspirants- Ex- PDP Deputy Chairman, Waliu Hassan

The Lagos State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party Ex- PDP Deputy Chairman, Waliu Hassan, has declared that they only generated N8Milllon from 2019 Presidential aspirants.

Following the eviction of the party by court order Several accusing fingers were pointed at the party Deputy Chairman, Hassan who acted for one month as Chairman as result of resignation of Honourable Moshood Salvador as the state Chairman.

In the build up to the Party’s presidential primary Election many aspirants visited the acting Chairman, and it’s Executive members, during the visit Presidential aspirants allegedly donated over N16 Million to pay backlog of rent.

In a statement credited to Waliu Hassan he debunked the allegations, he said,”
The above is the receipt and teller of the eight million naira (8 million) paid to the landlord during my tenure as the acting chairman of the party. I only acted as chairman for a month, during which we generated the said amount from presidential aspirants to reduce the backlog of debts of our rent at the party secretariat. Alhaji Waliu Hassan (Deputy Chairman).”
