How public officers should dress to work.

For decades it was easy to spot or identify public officers by their appearance.

It was almost cultural for most of them to be shabily attaired. They paid little attention or value to what they wear to work.

This offcourse had nothing to do with low salaries or remueration because looking decent and wearing the right clothes to work has more to do with orientation, attitude and style.

Things are however changing as fashion trail blazers, models and gurus are gradually emerging. However, thousands are lagging way behind.

Unfortunately this cut accross junior, middle and senior level officers. İn this era where we are increasingly assessed and judged by our appearance, many are still ignorant of the importance/benfits of wearing the right clothes to work.

To help promote and birth a new culture of looking good in public service, LGNA will host a mini fashion show as part of activities celebrating her 12th Year anniversary.

There will be a talk on benefits of looking good to work without breaking the bank by an icon in the fashion industry.

Selected public officers from all levels have also been selected to walk the run way.

These public officers were carefully choosen after a careful observation of their personal deess codes.

They will strut the red carpet as they show us what to wear to work on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, thursdays and fridays. They will also tell us why wear the clothes on those days.

It is going to be fun seeing our respected and distinquished senior administrators turn models, cat walk the red carpet.

Our choosen ‘models’ are enthiusiastic , so are we. This is all about having a good time and passing a good message across.
