In an interview session with Kosofe Post, the Finland raised photographer, Marketta Rokka disclosed that people lifestyle, culture gives her lot of joy.

Marketta who moved toTrollhättan in Sweden had an education in design and artist from Helsinki, Finland.

In her words while sharing her lifestyle with Kosofe Post said she’s a very simple woman who doesn’t need glamour to be happy. “I am very simple as a person, I don’t need glamour to be happy.”

“Having a brush, pencil, canvas and a camera and a lot of inspiration goes a long way, Marketta noted.

“The Amazing nature and kindness of people, see these little wonderful little creations I see through the lens of my camera.

“I often traveled, visit different countries in my work, meet people who live in other countries.
Seeing and hearing their way of life, their culture, it gives me a lot of joy.

She explained that the passion she has for her job makes her a member of 40 different art Galleries in different countries in all continents.

“I love showing my artwork all over the world, therefore I am a member of 40 different art Galleries in different countries in all continents of the world.”

I wish all people could see the beauty of the world the same way that I see”
She advocated for equal rights and most importantly educational across the world.

Marketta who described Nigerians as actively caring people, said she found Nigerians interesting with their sociability and professionalism.

“I have many Nigerians as friends, but no more than from other countries. I find most fascinating with Nigerians, their sociability and professionalism. They are familiar, caring people.”

Marketta who is based in Sweden explained further that impact of Covid-19 impact on her global exhibitions has been enormous.

“The impact of Covid-19 and Omicron variants on my global exhibitions has been enormous.
Meanwhile, pandemics have been going on, with all these destruction, travel has been stopped in many countries.
I have been able to send my works of art to an exhibition without attending myself globally.”
