PWD appeals to GAC leaders former inclusion in Local Government appointment

The Persons with Disabilities have appealed to Kosofe Governors Advisory Council Leaders for inclusion in the forthcoming Local Government appointment, for the position of Secretary to the Local Government, Supervisory Councilors among other appointments.

According to top-flight sources, the two GAC leaders reportedly jointly approved the list of who would be appointed as SLG, Supervisory Councilor and special Advisers in Kosofe Local Government (Agboyi Ketu IKosi Isheri Lcdas).

However, the special people who have been advocating through their various representatives for its member’s inclusiveness in government were dissatisfied with the list of candidates flying around as none of their member was shortlisted.

The spokesman of Persons with Disabilities (PWD) in Kosofe, Ebenezer Olatunji, said
Special people should also be represented. He noted further that they should be inclusive in the grassroots Governance.

He implored the party leaders to do something about the lopsided Local Government appointees list.
