PDP Announces LGA, Ward Executives in Kosofe Amidst Court Litigation

The Kosofe Chapter of the people’s Democratic Party has announced it’s LGA, Ward Executives during the party get together amidst court litigation

The party announced the officers elected last year on Friday, January 14, 2022, during the event held at Ile- Ile area of Kosofe Local Government.

It would be recalled that Kosofe Post reported that Niyi Olabiran emerged as the LGA Chairman in 2021.

Another source hinted this medium that the former Kosofe LGA Chairman, Kunle Koya who contested for position of chairman but surprisingly found his name as deputy Chairman was dissatisfied with the outcomes of LGA Congress has since dragged the party before the State High court to seek redress.

Chief Rahman Owokoniran the South-West General Secretary of People’s Democratic Party, PDP implored the party members to work for the unity and progress to secure total victory in 2023.

He assured the party members with all the necessary materials and logistics to dislodge the ruling party.

Meanwhile, two former deputy State Chairmen, Welly Hassan, and Mr. Ola Apena; former LGA Chairman, Mufutau Dada Babalola, PDP 2019 candidate for Kosofe Federal Constituency, Olushola Hassan, Kunle Koya, Segun Aroyewun and others were absent.
