History as you will all agree with me is a pace setter for justice and equity in any political structural balance.
Kosofe as is own share of history since PDP came to been and you can only but agree with me that the lga and 2 lcda’s is the most reasonable balance we can categorize kosofe into in regards to polling units distribution and within the lga. You will agree with me each of the lga and the 2 lcda’s as approximately 1/3 of all the polling units within kosofe.
So therefore equity and fairness in distribution of political offices in kosofe should be appropriated within Kosofe,Agboyi-ketu and Ikosi-isheri.
Speculation have been going round that kosofe/Constituency1 is next in turn to take over chairmanship of the party. They are simply ignorant of fairness and equity. Maybe they need to be reminded that constituency1 as only 1/3 of the total polling units in kosofe.
This should be discarded as sound and fury signifying nothing because since 1999 Agboyi Ketu has been marginalized due to past zoning arrangements from:
Baba Oroshunukun -Kosofe
Elder Akintewe -Ikosi Isheri
Baba Odushola -Kosofe
Mufu Babalola -Ikosi Isheri
just of recent Agboyi Ketu produce Kunle Koya in 2017 which his entitle to run for second term expecially to compensate the people of Agboyi Ketu LCDA.
It is preposterous to insist that a sitting PDP LGA chairman should not go for a second-term when he is entitled to do so. Those who opposed him should believe in him because his performance and political ideology is above human imagination expecially during the 35% and 65% saga, in my opinion, Kunle Koya is a unifier that is ready to work with anyone in respective of our political differences.
This is a Politics. If you’re successful, your competitors does not strive to match or exceed your political intellect. The favoured option is to try to drive you out of politics and sincerity must be reflected in the polity. Accordingly, Kosofe and Ikosi Isheri should take an extended sabbatical from the PDP LGA chairmanship position because Agboyi Ketu had tolerated a Kosofe and Ikosi Isheri PDP chairmanship for so many years, there is no-need to recommend another PDP LGA chairman in the short-term from another LCDA. The best thing Kosofe needs right now is a return of Kunle Koya or Agboyi Ketu must produce the next PDP Kosofe LGA chairman if truly our leaders are working for winning without personal interest
