Council Chairman surprise critics as she named a hall after late Council Chairman, Engr. Abdulfatai Oyesanya

The Executive Chairman of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area, Mayoress Samiat Bada has surprised critics as she named the main complex after Governor Babajide Sanwoolu and a hall after the late council Chairman, Engr. Abdulfatai Oyesanya, who laid the foundation of the new building.

The building was at an advanced stage before Oyesanya died on January 21, 2020.

Many thoughts it will be named after late senator Bayo Oshinowo and All Progressives Congress National leader, Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu which was the common practice across the state where several landmarks projects were named after him.

However, Samiat Bada surprised many stakeholders.

While delivering her speech, maybe as a result of oversight she didn’t acknowledge the late Chairman role.

However, she shocked numerous guests as she unveiled a separate hall named after Engr. Abdulfatai Oyesanya and late senator Bayo Oshinowo, her Political mentor. The later unveiling of Oyesanya’s hall to placate the late chairman supporters.

Also, to a large extent, the well attended and colourful event united APC political stakeholders in IKosi Isheri Lcda area of Kosofe.

The event that have Governor, Deputy governor, Member of state Council in attendance, Governor’s Advisory Council Members, serving and former Member of House of Representatives, state Assembly members and many dignitaries in attendance demonstrated to the whole world that peace has finally return to IKosi Isheri as the gladiators who have been loggerhead sheath their swords for the larger interest of the party.
