Hon. Barr. Ademola Adefolaju has decided to contest for the seat, Member of the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ifo Constituency 2 in 2023 after consultation with the various stakeholders, leaders and youths of the Ifo Constituency 2.

Hon. Barr. Ademola Adefolaju in his acceptance speech during the meeting with the people of his Constituency at Oke-Aro Primary School ground, expressed his gratitude to his supporters for their encouragement and support and pledge to continually and diligently look out for the interest and well-being of his Constituency.
Adefolaju stated that if given the opportunity to serve, he will passionately represent the interest of the good people of Ifo and not let them down.
Adefolaju, while also using the opportunity to commend the developmental works and effort of the Governor of Ogun State, Governor Dapo Abiodun, with respect to the infrastructural developments carried out by the State governor, promised to work hand-in-hand with the Governor if elected; to ensure continued collaboration between the Executive and Legislative Arm of Government.
