The Lawmaker Representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, Honourable Rotimi Agunsoye has commenced work on the 21,000 litres solar powered water borehole for residents of Ekiti Street, Oluyombo, Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos state.

The Lawmaker had facilitated several industrial boreholes across Kosofe Federal Constituency alongside other Zonal intervention programmes,

However, the lawmaker rejected the off specification 4000 litres borehole earlier constructed and ordered replacement with 21,000 capacity borehole at the affected community.

Following the sudden decommissioning of the borehole at Ekiti/Oluyombo Junction our correspondent contacted Honourable Jegede over the development, and he noted to find alternative location for the construction of the approved 21,000 litres capacity Boreholes.

“Construction of the approved 21,000 litres has been started. Instead of the 4,000 delivered by the contractor,” Loogun Sunday Jegede said.

Water supply is one of the major problem confronting the residents of Kosofe which has attracted donation of boreholes from individuals, serving state and Federal lawmakers, councilors, opposition candidate, Lion Club, among others.
