The Executive Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo was today conferred with ‘Chairman of the Year Award ‘ by Globestrides Media, Publishers of TimelineNG.
The council chairman was honoured at the 4th Edition of the Timeline Awareness Initiative Lecture and Award, held at Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Ikeja, Lagos.
Presenting the award, the Commissioner for Information, Lagos State, Mr. Gbenga Omotosho described the lofty leadership style of Mayor Dele Oshinowo as ‘Legendary’ , stressing that the council chairman was honoured in recognition of the numerous peoples’ oriented achievements in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.
Omotosho stated that the signature of progress has not only endeared him to residents of the locality, but has made him become a shinning light in the political affairs of Lagos State.
Receiving the award, the council chairman thanked the media organization for honouring the modest efforts of his administration, noting that the prestigious award of excellence is dedicated to all residents of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA for their cooperation to allow him succeed.
Represented by his deputy, Mrs. Folake Kayode, the chairman explained that the award will spur him and his team to do more for the hospitable people of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.
The Vice-chairman was accompanied by the Distinguished Councillors representing Ward ‘A’ and ‘E’ at the Agboyi-Ketu Legislative Council, Hon. Oluwaseyi Adebayo and Hon. Rasaq Ayodele respectively.
