A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly for the Kosofe Constituency 2, Hon. Femi Saheed, have promised to give more robust and quality representation as well as attract what’s due to his constituency if given full opportunity.
The assurance was given by Femi Saheed, who was named the best grassroots politician of the year at The Globestrides Media Publishers of TimelineNG program was held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the Lagos Sheraton Hotel and Suites, according to the newsmen.
He reiterated his determination to continue delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of his constituency and Lagos State.
He highlighted two school bus donations, free 10 cateract surggery operations, boreholes, cash grants, and cash to wealth creation bins as part of his personal intervention programmes within one year in office. He added that if given the full opportunity, he would be able to surpass his brief achievements and imprint his name on the hearts of the people.
“14 months in the office has been challenging. However, I thank God. I thanked the party that gave birth to me and instilled so much in me.
During my time in the office, we have been able to donate two buses for free transportation for students, provide over 400 pieces of school furniture, collaborate with Opic Estate to perform ten free cataract operations for ten people, provide cash grants to over 600 beneficiaries, and dig six boreholes, with more on the way.
