As political activities in Nigeria are inclined towards the 2023 general election, a pro-Tinubu support group, The Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ABAT Movement, has been inaugurated in Kosofe.
The inauguration was held yesterday at the Beko Ramsome Kuti Sports Centre, Anthony Village area, Kosofe Local Government, Lagos, and was attended by many staunch believers of the progressive ideology.
While speaking with journalists, the Honourable Gbemisola Ketiku, while speaking with journalists, commiserates with the victims of recent terrorist attacks in Nigeria.
He noted further that while mourning the Nigerians that lost their lives, the program is to allow people to gather while minimizing their activities and programmes as a sign of honour to the bereaved family, as recently done by the cancellation of the 13th Colloquium of Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Our primary objective is just to pass a message of mobilization. We are in politics to solve the problems of insecurity raging in our country today.”
He urged Nigerians to look inwards at the competent and capable personalities present who can manage the country very well.
He noted further that Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed has shown a strong, intimidating energy and intellect to handle the state of affairs of the nation today, such as unemployment, infrastructure deficits, and insecurity, which affected the ABAT launching programme. He emphasised that it’s only Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu that can fix Nigeria for the betterment of all.
In his own party, the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Honourable Moyo Ogunlewe, said the APC Presidential hopeful, Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is a visionary leader who knows how to identify great personalities and is entrusted with the responsibility of handling different aspects of governance.
“If we can replicate what he has done in Lagos State, definitely, Nigeria will be a better place.”
The Chairman, who endorsed Senator Tinubu Bola over other aspirants, advised Nigeria and Nigerians to key into the Presidential hopeful vision based on his tremendous legacies in the public domains.
He reinterated his willingness to support all groups rooting for the candidature of the APC National Leader, Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Similarly, Honourable Sanni Okanlawon, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Kosofe Constituency 1, stated that Ashiwaju Bola is the most prepared, trusted, tested, and the only one ready to serve.
He is a strategist, pathfinder, and trailblazer in so many spheres of life. He has proven to be the best. And we cannot afford not to use our best hands at this moment of our country’s situation.”
He noted that when Tinubu governed Lagos State and observed the problems of waste, he instituted the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), and the environment, he instituted the Lagos State Transportation Management Authority (LASTMA), and he instituted millennium colleges to take care of deficit public schools and introduced Kick against Indiscipline Cops to address alarming indiscipline in the state, among several other legacy initiatives.
Okanlawon added, “He is an innovative and creative person we need at this point in the life of our nation.”
He’s a forerunner of modern day Lagos State and modern Nigeria. He was in the trench during the NADECO days. He labored excruciatingly to ensure that we enthroned democracy, the rule of law, and federalism in Nigeria. He is a tested democrat and a destiny helper. He urged all Nigerians to rally round him and give him their overwhelming support to ensure that come 2023, he becomes the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In his remarks, the Honourable Busayo Adebayo described Ashiwaju as a builder who has built many people. He also stated that aspirants for the presidency strongly believe it is an opportunity for him to do more.
He advised Nigerians to support Ashiwaju to also benefit from what several people have benefited from without discrimination.
